Running for Children, Investing in the Future

The Confirel‑PPM Group and FAES Farma lent their support to the event “Running for Children, for Our Future”, organized on 30 May by the Ministry of Information at Borey Peng Huoth Boeung Snor in Phnom Penh. According to the Minister of Information, Neth Pheaktra, the race brought together 1,700 runners from 11 nationalities and helped raise 100 million riels for the Cambodia Kantha Bopha Fund.The minister recalled that the Kantha Bopha hospitals in Phnom Penh and Siem Reap treated more than one million children and handled a large number of deliveries in 2025, with an annual budget of 46 million dollars, or around 120,000 dollars per day. He warmly thanked the sponsors, while stressing that this contribution represents only a modest help compared with the hospitals’ daily needs.This humanitarian initiative, which aims to provide free care to children, especially those from the most disadvantaged families, expresses the solidarity of all partners and brings hope and joy to Cambodian children.
